PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY

Dr. Kotecha believes in a patient-centered approach to spine care, where surgery is only considered after exhausting all conservative options. He is an expert in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery techniques, which offer faster recovery, less pain, and fewer complications than traditional open spine surgery that involves cutting and damaging the muscles.
He also has extensive training and experience in complex and reconstructive spine surgery, which enables him to treat patients who have had unsuccessful spinal surgeries in the past. He performs a comprehensive physical and neurological evaluation, and uses various diagnostic tools such as MRI scans, CT scans, X-rays, etc. to determine the best surgical option for each patient. He explains the benefits and risks of the surgery in detail, and educates the patient about the underlying cause of their pain. He respects the patient's autonomy and does not pressure them to make a hasty decision. Dr. Kotecha knows that spinal surgery is a serious matter and treats each patient with compassion and professionalism.
